The only way a $1300 PC would be overkill is if you're playing at 720p. Also drop the stupid AIO and get a good air cooler.

Hold on the RX 480 sapphire nitro card doesn't have a price so the total would be 1649.

The only thing overkill is the 2TB WD black when there are 2TB drives for $50

totally agree with you I have the h100i and it's good but not as silent as an air could be and with a good air cooler you can get close to the same performance

even if it costs that much it doesn't look that bad also forget the people that say lose the AIO if you want an AIO just get it. But if you are looking at saving any money you could probably drop the 2tb Western digital Black for a Blue there is very little difference between the two and if you are just a regular consumer I would take the Blue over the Black (In my opinion).

Hybrid drives tend to cost a bit less or alot more than basic HDDs, they have odd pricing

What I am doing: 240gb ssd for main games and os

5x 2tb hard drives because NAS, but you could just use 1.

2, Samsung m.2 950 pro's in raid

2, gtx 1080s in sli

a 40 pice lane 6-10 core cpu

ssd's for the storage.

Intel 5930k/ asus x99 deluxe II/ 32gb crucial ballistix ram/ Evga 1080 ti SC2/ enermax air cooler/ enthoo luxe case

for 112$ you can get 2tb HDD as fellow LBT member said and for the rest 58-60$ you can get SSD 120gb maybe even 240 if you are VERY lucky :)

It overall depends on what games you wanna play but the RX 480 and the 1060 are about the same

in performance so why not get a solid 1060 for 250$ instead?

And from what I've heard the HyperX Cloud 2 is a better gaming headset than the G35 but you would also

have to invest another 20$.

Get a WD Blue instead of the Black imo. Blue is faster, not as noisy and cheaper.
