Headset doesnt pick up sound

So today I managed to break the front audio jack on my in win 805 so the actual jack is loose and I have to hold the wire in for it to work, now for some reason the headset now only works when the pink wire is plugged into that jack (It used to work in both front jacks) and doesnt even work in the rear pink jack. This is  weird because my speakers still work.
