Buying a new headset

iv used my plantronics rig headset for a long time and have been happy with it however resentfully the cable has been cutting out and i would like to replace it with another head set preferably with a boom mic built in. i was asking for advise as im unfamiliar with what makes a god head set. i use it in a shared work-space and i would prefer closed ear cups. i can afford about $150 at the moment.

i know it's nuts but the drives i bought over time as i need more storage.
