honestly... if you can spare the money... an i7 processor would work so much better for you in terms of editing! when it comes to any form of editing an i7 processor is almost a must have!

why not go for a laptop instead so you can travel with it too?

i actually have a laptop, but i dont think that it's capable of what i want to do. it's an asus x555l laptop

If you are travelling to and from your place of education then mobility is a key thing to have and will give ou the edge over other students so a laptop would probably be better and the link i sent you with the Dell Inspirion is definately a good choice for architecture and editing along with a little gaming

i actually plan of just using it at home since it will be for my thesis project. i will use it for just the heavier renderings and use my laptop if i need to go out
