New Phone Help

decided to get a phone

 

and it's either the LG G5 or the S7 Edge, I've watched several reviews and they both seem to have flaws 

 

but i'm unsure which one to get, i've had issues with samsungs in the past such as bad lag in the UI, laggy apps, Battery issues

 

but i dunno

 

does anyone have any of them phones to tell me how good they are?

tha samsung Galaxy line has greatly improved since the S3. no more laggy apps, lots less bloatware and even great battery performance. i have a Galaxy S7 (non-edge) and this is honestly the first phone i didn't flash a custom ROM onto. it's just that good straight out of the box!

I currently have the S5 and after a couple of months before my contract ended, i started getting constant issues but i dunno about the s7 edge

Well the S7 edge has better battery life from test I have seen from gsmarena.

i'd pick samsung over LG, but then again, i haven't used non-nexus or iphones in a while.  However, from experience in fiddling with friends phones due to the fact im just the go to guy when anything electrical breaks, i've noticed that Samsung phones usually have software issues, like lag, which can be fixed by flashing it.  However, LG issues are more hardware, like battery not holding charge, and phone doesn't charge.

 

So, if I had to pick 1 of those 2 phones, i'd go Samsung.
