I moved my computer to my Dads house from my moms and, it no longer works.

When I first plugged it in I got an error message telling me to connect boot device and press any button or reset. This happened with no bios message thing where it shows the gigabyte logo. It went immediately to this screen. Confused I took a screw and attempted to short the clear cmos thing( something which i can and have done before). Now when the computer boots, I get one beep, and it immediately goes to a black screen with a blinking line thing ( the one you see when typing) and a cursor, and nothing happens when I press any button. I've also tried the bios access button but it doesn't work thanks for any help

Al cables to the motherboard cup and graphics card are good

not quite sure about my hdd's but they look good, I can't get a close look at the power part of my hdd's though it's worth explaining I boot from my ssd  which has Windows 10, and also have a 1tb raid 1 array

Make sure everything is connected. All SATA per m powers and data. Also, is it going through POST? Since you didn't leave your MB info, I can't tell you what one beep means. But you can certainly look that one up. It beeps for a reason. Also, make sure you have all power connected, to include the 4 or 6 pin for the CPU.

It's probably a loose connection.it happens with moves sometimes. Cable management can help.

Why can't you check those power connections?

Because of the build of my system I can't without removing a lot of stuff, something I can't currently do safely. I don't think the current error has anything to do with my ssd or hdd's as it doesn't even say anything about booting

It's a gigabyte, that's al I remember, my i5 is a 4590 if that helps, not sure what post is

POST is Power On Self Test. The MB makes sure everything gets power: CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD/SSD. Look on your MB, it'll trek you the model. Then check what POST beeps mean.

That would mean one of your RAM sticks is bad. Remove one and try to boot. If it works, awesome, power down and switch to the other one and try again. If it boys with one and not another, your RAM is bad. But some new ones. How old is the build?

This is weird. I pulled ram stick 1 and it boots into bios, where I try to boot and it tells me my ssd isn't detected. Then just to see what happens I post it back in and turned the computer on, and this time it works, and I was able to access the bios. WITH BOTH STICKS IN!  I'm very confused but now must reconnect my ssd and it should work, thanks for the help
