I always rely on Nvidia GPUs but can you please tell me which one is better. The GTX 1060 or the RX 480? Which version of RX 480, 8 GB or 4 GB

Between the two the GTX 1060 seems to beat out the RX480 in most games although with Vulkan coming out that might change.

I am thinking to upgrade my graphic card as my current graphic card cannot handle the work.

Current Specifications:

Core i5 6600K

Asus Z170 Pro

16 GB Kinston Hyper X Fury at 2400MHz

120 GB SSD and 1 TB Hard Drive

Nvidia Geforce 8600 gt (512 mb, 128 bit)

There are two types of things i would like to do on my system

1. Office Work

Its usually video converting, video editing, making website, using Adobe CS6 Master Collection and using these software

1. Photoshop to edit huge pdf files some times over 1gb

2. Illustrator

3. Dreamweaver

4. Flashbuilder

2. Gaming

When it comes to Gaming i play games like

1.  FIFA 16 & 17

2. Counter Strike Global Offensive

3. Dota 2

4. GTA 5

I will like to record each and every game at ultra settings at 1920 x 1080

I am a bit confused what graphic card should go for. Should I go for an Nvidia or an AMD one. Can you guys please specify the specific model of the gpu. How much bit it should be and how much should be the size of memory.

My Budget is $350

Thanks in Advance

I would suggest either the GTX 1060 or the AMD 480 for 1080p as you should be able to max out just about everything but if you plan on going to 1440p in the future then better to go with a GTX 1070 card.

Will I be getting more than 70 FPS with the GTX 1060

Yah, you shouldn't have a problem getting over 60 to 70 FPS in most games with the GTX 1060.
