Intel HD Graphics

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

When you have a discrete GPU in there it takes over for the output functionality of the integrated GPU unless you go into BIOS and tell it otherwise. When you build a PC with just integrated graphics and so long as the motherboard has output ports then it will output from the integrated GPU and the motherboard output ports just fine. As for drivers there are basic ones which come with pretty much all OSes that can work with the integrated GPU to get you up and running until you can install better ones.

So basically when you build a new computer you have to plug the monitor into the gpu because it wont show anything if you plug the monitor into Intel HD Ports on the motherboard

How do you like plug it into motherboard without installing drivers or anything

I am going to build my parents a PC but and the case is Silverstone ML05B which looks like this:

761e590f4f5fd1f2bcf7e240da6fcab5.med.160

So it's not like I can temporarily put a GPU in there.

Harambe doesn't have anything to do with integrated graphics
