system folders combined

how do i move my user directory from my ssd where i have windows installed to my hdd?

is it possible to just drag&drop?

i did it, but my ssd is still full, so which files should i drag and drop? the whole users folder?

When you do the location thing in the file explorer, it should give you an option to move what's already in the folder.

now it says users, but my user isn't in that folder, nor in the hdd, but my files are there.  that how it is supposed to be?

They're in YourHDDletter-->yourname

well, now my video folder is called downloads, and i can'r change it back

I've no idea how you managed that. You might as well move the videos into the videos folder manually.

even better, the folders are now mixing, so i have 2 identical folders, with both downloads and videos, they both have the download icon

I honestly have no idea how you did that. Maybe you want to move all the folders into a new folder, then start again from the beginning.

i think mt video file was placed inside my download file, and when i removed the vid file from download it happened

i deleted all the files that had anything to do with the download folder and videofolder, so all downloads and videos are gone  ... but it fixed it, the icons are now 1 vid and 1 download, and the names match their icons

Leave them where they are. If you need to move them, make sure you've told the programs that use those folders where to look for them in the future.

I really can't see where in those instructions you could merge two folders. Could you say, step by step, what you're doing?

well, when i download a file a new file named videos is made on my previously used drive, and it's called videos, i have 3 files called videos now, and 1 of them has the download icon

my video an download folders have been combined, and have the same content, i have deleted them and they still just glitch back

it happened when i moved all the song,video,picture folders over to my ssd..

HI I has the same problem, check each folder to make sure the original folder's new filepath is as intended
