post PC DOSENT POST

Hi , today i started my first build everyting was going right but when i start the pc it dosent post, everyting works fine , the fans are spinning, the lights are turned on but 0 signal form the pc

 

SPECS:

AMD 8370

MSI 970 GAMING

HYPER X FURY 1600 MHZ

RX 480

Yes i connected it to HDMI 1 and the tv is set to hdmi1

If those photos are accurate, you need to plug the pci-e header into the power supply.

Be sure your display is plugged into everything correctly. Be sure you have plugged everything in. If that fails, your MOBO should be displaying an error code. If so, look it up to see what it means. Try plugging your display cable into your motherboard instead of your graphics card, since you don't have drivers.

That would also explain why he wouldn't get a signal from his GPU...

The Vga Cable is connected directly to the psu

It's not. Only the CPU and 24 pin cables are non-renewable on that power supply. You need to plug in the pci-e cable to the power supply.

well i dont know how to explain it , the psu has a vga cable that comes from inside to outside and the outside has the 8 pin conector that is connected to the vga

PCIe Power goes from your PSU to your GPU, it should never be outside of the case. Make sure the cable is connected correctly at both ends.

No, those are the PCIe Power cables. Plug them into your GPU on one end, and your PSU on the other. At least, I'm pretty sure they are.

i did it but its still the same, maybe the video card is broken? or the pcie slot?

Try plugging the gpu back in again. Does the gpu fan come on?

Yes , everything works but no signal to the tv

Well, TV's can be weird in handling a computer signal. But what is the power supply cable on the right in the first photo that is just by the edge of the case?

it was a pcie cable that i was testing. because the modular psu cames with 3 of those cables
