AMD has pulled a move that makes me pretty angry. There's a $100 price hike on the 78xx series of cards.

I was planning to buy a 7870XT in December, but now it's $250 instead of $150.

I thought a new release of cards was supposed to bring DOWN the price of the old cards?

it's funny that there are HD7950's that are cheaper than 7870's....

The 7870 xt has never dropped to $150, ever.

You can never count on power color rebates. But at least before it was much cheaper, now it's outside my budget.

Shame, I could have used the extra stream processors, with my tri-screen plans.
