It meens that for example an i7 4770 will work for sure but that an i7 4790 might need an bios update with a 4770 to be recognized/work propperly, but your cpu should work just fine even without a bios update

the motherboard is a bit expensive for the cpu tbh, i would go for an h81 or cheaper b85 myself
