Is this a known problem (port forwarding settings disappear)

So the other day all my port forwarding settings disappeared and when i tried to add them back it said port forwarding name is already in use.  The router is 3-ish years old.  I reset the firmware today and everything worked until some of my settings disappeared again.  They don't work after they disappear.  Some people on other websites said that it could be the ip changing but ip's have changed before and nothing has happened and i just changed the IP, but everything on my network has a static IP except mobile devices.  I cant figure out why this keeps happening... is it time to get a new router?

Honestly, your best recourse here would likely be to maybe try an open source firmware if your router supports it, or to open a case with your router manufacture to inquire why your port forward settings keep getting erased. It is likely a firmware bug imo that likely hasnt been vetted yet by them.

What router model and hardware revision do you have? This information is on a sticker on the bottom of the router.

Also, Comic Sans is Awesome. (Because if I don't say it at the beginning of my turn, I lose.)
