Hello all,

i am am looking to start upgrading my build that I currently have in a corsair 200r. I will slowly upgrade it part at a time. I want to start with case and wondered on people's thoughts.

I want a case that looks different and appealing, has a side window and also has good air flow.

I want to put 3 fans in the front so I can run them low to reduce noise, possibly upgrade to ML series.

I will also add an ML to the rear for exhaust. I will also look to add a corsair all in one cooler. A single fan all in one would work for me but I think a 2 fan one would be less noisey.

The computer will end up in my living room in a couple of years and I really think it will be quiet enough for this location.

Does anyone one have any experience with this case?

thankyou

Three fans in the front isn't a good idea in this case, the bottom one would be cooling your cables. Cable management is okay but you'll have to push the side panel to get it on.

And still, corsair does not follow a simple thing

But rubber grommets for gods sake

Isn't the bottom fan right in front of the HDDs?

Also 240mm rads will only fit in the front and 120mm rads will only fit in the back.

Corsair shows an H80 mounted in the front.

Anyway, I can't really help OP, because if I had a Spec Alpha, I'd trade it for his 200R :P

Yes but from what I've heard you have to remove the tray to mount the fan.

I meant up to 240mm in the front (maybe 360 with no HDD tray)

It'd be nice to add rubber grommets, but that will add cost for a case that's specifically made for budget builds.

Would it be possible to sell rubber grommets and/or a PSU basement as an add-on?

I love this case just because of how it looks but there's no basement (I'm modding one in to fix this problem) and there's also no rubber grommets, is there a place to buy them?

On the topic of three fans, I have a question to add. Does anyone know what the clearance is between the case and front fascia on the bottom fan location? It looks like the front fascia narrows at the bottom, and I'm curious if it's possible to fit something like a 16 mm thick fan underneath the fascia. (Regardless of if fitting a 16 mm fan there makes any sense or not)
