Problems after changing CPU

So i replaced my G3258 on to new I5 4590. FIrst day all was okay. But next day while working in After Effects my screen went black. Then it showed 9 times that my monitor was disconnected. Then loaded up my desktop. But it was black. Then started freezing every 10s. Then i closed my PC.( By holding down power button ). When i started pc i went to BIOS to check if something was changed but all was fine. Restarted and then windows started repairing my Hard Drive. What could do this. Mybe i have to install something For I5 and delete G3258 drivers? Right now everything is running normal...

What are your CPU temps? Perhaps when you changed the CPU you didn't put the cooler on properly.

Just a thought, did you recheck your video connections?

This issue may have nothing to do with the cpu itself and could be as simple as something came loose during install.

It's something about GPU, try reinstalling/updating drivers.

40c idle,  Prime 95 strest test 70c stable

You could check event viewer to see what issue it threw up when blanking the screen ?
