The 950 is OK, it will handle any game at 1080p, if you are willing to go down to high or medium.... It should satisfy your needs, and when it will no longer be good, you will swap it with a newer one...

An R9 380 is even better, but if you can't spend that much money, the 950 won't be terrible either

is gigabyte quality gpu manufacture and it is Windforce edition oc.

it will be good. I see on youtube i3 6100 with r9 380 it is not quite very better than 950.

in my store www.futura-it.hr 950 is a little more expensicve than rx 460 but if preformance is different(better) I would spent more dollars (kunas in my country)

On Battlefield 4, I get 70fps (most of the time) on the high preset with my 950... In FarCry, you might want to turn some settings down a bit though.. 

 

With the games that you play, a 950 is fine... And it will save you some money....

Yes, spend some more money for the 950, DX11 titles are better on the 950...

You should be able to, you can play with the settings and get it just right at the FPS and visuals you want it to...

I used to have an FX-6100 and got those results... With my i7, I get around 75-80 most of the time, as BF4 is CPU dependent...

I just remembered, FarCry needs 4cores at least, it doesn't run on i3s :(

So, my two cents are, buy the 950 and overclock it... Boom, you have 960 level of performance for $40 less!
