Macbook Pro Mid 2012 Overheating

New to this community.
I have a Macbook Pro Mid 2012(non-retina display) edition. It has an Intel i5 3210M.I recently got bored and installed Windows 10 via bootcamp .Everything seems to run good so far but after half an hour of usage the laptop gets hot as a pan and gets too unconfortable to keep on lap and the temps show 79-85 C (174-185 F).Also it starts to thermal throttle and the video playback and even the system starts to lag.
This is not an issue when I boot into OS X (El Captain) and it runs at good temps and even the fan does not turn on.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Thank You
I have the exact same issue with my early 2013 macbook pro (nearly the same as mid-2012 macbook pro), the reason is because the intel iGPU doesn't work in windows (only uses dGPU which uses ALOT of power) and probably crappy bootcamp drivers (they stopped supporting anything below mid-2013 macbook, so we only get old drivers that don't even support windows 10 properly). Well at least it's ok for games, but microsoft word is really laggy ;(.
Sucks that you got a mac ![]()
EDIT: Try MPC-HC as a video player, I find that works just fine on my macbook.
