120-144Hz 1440p 27" IPS. Any ideas?

Currently i am using r9 290x as my GPU and i think ill upgrade to 2x r9 290x if i find a good bargain, or ill upgrade to 2x gtx 980 i dont know yet, ill know more in a week.

 

as title suggests MUST be : 120-144Hz IPS panel, minimum 1440p resolution and 27" and more size and not ultrawide.

 

So far for AMD alternative with FreeSync i have found

For G-Sync i havent looked yet.

around $400 USD and the cheapest offering that I can find that has good reviews

Acer XF270HU is probably the best you can get for a $600 budget, so I would get that

I got the ASUS MG279Q 144Hz 2560x1440P IPS and i love it, so clearly i would recomend it

THAT is actually a VERY VERY appealing alternative! Wow, happy to have asked  Will be looking for more but so far this one caught my eye

Hehehe, i never want to go back to a TN panel after i got this monitor
Only downside is the 90 fps limit with freesync
But i haven't had any issues with this, i have not experienced any tearing or blur from it.

Sorry but that is not acceptable when i am buying 144hz monitor why would i want to play only on 90 hz? No thanks

acer xf270hu as my original contender has 40-144hz freesync range, so clear winner so far.

It's AMD
In the beginning there was some monitors limited to 60Hz with freesync

And if you take the TN-version MG278Q instead for IPS-version MG279Q then the limit is 40-144Hz 

But yet again, i am not using freesync anyway and i had a G-sync monitor 144Hz from ACER and i could never get it to run 144Hz, only 120Hz.

Found out that the reason was the G-sync module in the monitor, i could not turn it off so my AMD gpu could not read that the monitor supported 144Hz, while if you have a Freesync monitor and Nvidia gpu there should be no problem (i have not encounted any problems yet)

Well i dont want TN monitor and i will almost 100% be using AMD so freesync is a must. And i want to play CS:GO mainly with it, so thats why i wanted a 144hz freesync

Fair enough, i also play cs:go on my main machine but like i said, i doesn't use it and will properly not use it in the near future unless freesync gets a serious upgrade. I have seen alot of reviews about the freesync monitors and while they do help on tearing they won't remove it completely, they rather masks it up

But understandable that you want a monitor with 144Hz able freesync monitor with the full range
