Is it worth an upgrade?

I generally play my games on playstation console as it serves my purpose (and acts as my media center for netflix, blue ray and such). However I've been devouring "mod" options for skyrim on youtube for six months and would love to be able to take advantage of some of those. I realize it's likely setting myself up for trouble since I have no idea what i'm doing ( but surely youtube makes me an expert right?). So my question is would my current rig work with an upgraded video card? Thanks for any and all input.

ps I've zero income currently so this is simply for setting my expectations for when my financial situation improves
oh and i'm very sorry if I've put this in the correct spot. I just assumed the motherboard is going to be the deciding factor. So. yeah. Have a great day!
With Skyrim being a massively demanding game on the CPU side already, its difficult for me to offer you an immediate solution that doesn't involve a full upgrade.
It might be worth trying to upgrade the GPU in the machine but you may find yourself disappointed with the performance regardless.
The PS4 actually has Skyrim remastered coming out later this year, which will provide full mod support and an optimisation process that allows the mods to run properly on the consoles hardware. If you're short on cash, consider this an option.
