What is a affordable wifi adapter that is good for gaming. Really looking for one that is almost as good as a hard wired computer.

The most affordable wifi adapter that's almost good as hard wired would be like $100. Just use Ethernet, it's worth the few hours routing cable through the wall.

3x3 AC that's 30 ft away through 1 wall (2 plaster faces) cuts my throughput IN HALF to just over 500 Mbps. i might as well be running N at 2.4GHz...

But mine new modem dosent use ethernet. It use a coax cable. and there is none near my computer.
