EVGA FTW 1070 Thoughts?

Im looking at picking up a 1070 in the next month or so, and I was wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with the FTW edition of EVGA's 1070. 

 

If you do, what are you doing with it and hows it performing? 

 

I'm wanting a colour-neutral card, so if anyone also has any other recommendations I'll take those into consideration as well.

None of the EVGA cards are binned, so you have as much chance at getting a good overclocker with a regular ACX3.0 as you do with an SC, FTW, or Classified.

I have one. It barely overclocks. I eneded up just dialing in a +500MHz on the memory and letting boost take it up to 1950+Mhz on the core.

 

Other than that, it stays cool and quiet, and looks good doing it.

Honestly when I first saw the cooler I thought it looked kinda funky, but since then I've warmed up to it and ill gladly take it haha

You have to see it in person. It looks better with the LED illumination on, too.

I have, I have already build 3 desktops with a 1070 or 1080 EVGA card.

The palit card has RGB on the side

Pure sex tho. Brushed metal frame over an elegantly mirror-polished glowy glow-plate. The FTW is also in blue, which matches my build color accents.

i have the EVGA SC 1070, but the FTW comes with rgb lighting if that's your thing.

I am scandinavian... I love clean looking things, I also like to use RGB strips more than having it on the parts
