So i picked up a 1TB SSD from Samsung the other day and did a complete reinstall of my OS which is Win 7 Ultimate i installed windows did all my drivers like normal no problems there :)

I started to plug in all my gear Keyboard Mouse External Dack all that and none of my USB 3.0 Ports are working ive downloaded every driver for it i even tried the disc that comes with the MOBO that i never use and nothing, The USB 3.0 port is fine no bent pins tested with multimeter its getting enough current cable is fine no damaged ports or connectors i cannot get any of the 3.0 ports to work the UBS 2.0 works just fine but thers only a few of them on this board.

Nothing has changed since my last upgrade which was new GPU's

Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated

Thx

Do they power on at all, like any lights, or indications that it might be on? Also, USB3 is unnecessary for peripherals. The only things that will benefit are USB3 drives. Use a regular USB2 port.

Nope no power what so ever i just tried a WD UBS 3 Portable drive and nothing :(

I don't know the answer to your problem but unless you have a USB3 flash drive, you won't need the speed

"UBS 2.0 works just fine but thers only a few of them on this board."

The problem is that if their 3.0 ports don't work, what else can they use if all the 2.0 ports are used already.

They could be disabled in the CMOS by accident.
