Hi , I just built my first computer and my cpu has a problem. I have a msi z170-a pro atx motherboard that has a debug led that shows what the problem is and apperently it is the cpu . Nothing shows up on my monitor but the pc starts. Any help ?

took it out and put it back in and it didn't work

try to reset the CMOS to clear any error and restore the stock settings...

to do so, unplug the machine from the wall and hold the power button for at least 10 or 20 seconds to completely drain any power left in the capacitors...

then remose the tiny battery on the motherboard for about 30 seconds...and put the battery back.

plug back into the wall and test again...

this is the battery you want to look for:
