Hello everyone. I just started in school again, and it is time for a new pc. Currently i am considering the Dell XPS 13" with that nice display on one hand, hand the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro.

Personally, i would prefer the Dell, but i dont know if it is too much to pay. I am from Denmark, and here the Dell XPS 13" with WQHD touch-screen, i7 and 256gb ssd 12.000 danish crowns. The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro on the other hand, only has a Core M processor and i am not too happy about the design. But it only costs 6.500 DKK, almost half of the Dell XPS... Which would you prefer for school-work and netflix/chill? :D

Best in class school laptop. 12 hour actual use battery and best in class build quality. Pricey ish.

Budget Thinkpad. Slightly worse than the link above in about every way but also cheaper.

Same price as the Yoga 3. Comparable build quality and much better specs for the price.

The XPS13 is probably one of the best ultrabooks but you pay to play in that regard. The yoga 3 isn't bad, its just extremely overpriced in Denmark. Check out proshop too, they seem to have better prices sometimes.

Okaay son. Notebookcheck scoring is pretty dumb. Only use it for there test results and come to conclusions of your own or based on more experienced peers. I mean. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-GX700-Notebook-Review.156842.0.html says enough about their scoring system.

Second of all, Asus Zenbook has serious QC issues. In addition to Asus support being a joke.

Third of all, that thing costs as much as a X260 in Denmark, and nobody here gonna support you if you start telling me that the UX303/305 > X260.

4. It's trackpad is waste. Most Asus trackpads are waste espeically the U series. Dell and Lenovo have made strides to catch up to the Apple, while others have been lagging.

5. UX303 is fine. It's an average ultrabook. It's outclassed by every recommendation I've made cept the Dell, but with the Dell you get the advantage of having 2-1 like the Yoga 3 cept with more powerful hardware. And even then I would still choose the Dell because trackpads are a pretty big part of using a laptop and Asus' trackpad is years behind.

6. UX305 is a Macbook wanna be passively cooled throttling all day piece of garage

That is a pretty neat PC for the price, but it has some problems.

1. It uses DDR3 when the CPU also supports DDR4

2. The battery is a bit small.

3. it has some throttling, when you put load on the CPU.

but for that price you cannot really say that much to it.

Also how hard was it for you to get around on that website? :D
