^ it's a clearance sale. So ultimately it's ur choice. 970m on a GS60 is meh. I personally dislike the GS60 very much due to the literal 2 hour battery life new. And that's not gaming. I need some time away from an outlet. But if that's okay with you, the GS60 is a fine machine. You trade thinness for everything and I don't need my laptop that thin.

1200$ is the retail price, this one is refurbished so it should be less than that :o

Yeah battery life isnt great, but few if any gaming laptops run properly away from the wall, its just a shame that for "normal" use the battery  isnt too  great

But the 970m is a good card, pretty much runs everything at 1080p 60fps

Thin and light is definitely something a lot of us appreciate, and not ALL laptops make too many sacrifices

I actually didn't get it, I went for the a brand new GS72. It was about $20 more but you get the 6gb 970m (which i know is sorta useless).

But um, pascal is out....for that money you could of picked up a 1060 laptop. And that 1060 would have competed against a 980 desktop and kicked the 970m to the curb.
