More options in the "+ Create" menu

Currently, I can 'create' status updates, topics, and gallery images if I want to... but it will be useful if you can add an option to 'create' a PM which leads directly to the "Compose New" pop-up in LTT Messenger.

Is clicking PM tab open and +-sign from there too difficult? If you have top bar pinned, it will even follow you where ever you will go.

Is clicking the menu with the username, and "Update Status" from there too difficult ? I'm saying it can all be grouped under one menu as it is still easier than clicking the envelope button and then the '+'...

Unfortunately, while I think it could make sense (though I don't use the create menu myself), it's much more difficult to implement than you might think, and it's not something that would be worth the effort required given that you can create a new PM from every page too.
