Opinions on my build (Already Built)

I have had some of the parts since 2014 (I5 cpu) 

 

What upgrades do you recommend? I don't want to go to skylake just yet (I believe haswell has still got life in it) 

I am willing to buy used for a cpu 

I also thinking on getting a second 970?

I'd always choose the more powerful graphics card over 2 lesser ones. In your case, that means I'd get a 1070 instead of SLI. Also, a 4790k or 5775c would be nice, the latter is clocked and overclocks less but it's eDRAM is pretty much L4 cache when the iGPU isn't in use.

just get a second gpu or a new gpu and you will be golden

Like its said,sell the GTX 970 if you can and put that money to a GTX 1070

Most games still don't support SLI, so nope to the second 970.

Maybe just a new card like a 1070.

(don't make my mistake)

Apart from that you build still has 2 or so more years in it.
