Question about Windows 10 install

Does this mean all programs installed will stay or just uwp apps will stay?

Also is this free? I used the Windows media tool and it's letting me upgrade.

It should keep all your programs.

 

It will probably keep it actived, but you can restore you backup if it isn't right.

Free upgrade ended. You won't get activated windows once you boot into win10.

I can just revert back to 9.1 8.1 if it doesn't, or I could go to their "Contact Support" app and get a new product key because it let me upgrade without paying.

 

That actually works sometimes.

It worked when I swapped the CPU/Motherboard/RAM in my main rig, I used the app to contact them and they gave me a new product key.
