I’m fairly sure I will purchase a gtx 1070 soon, which 1070 out at the moment would be the best for strictly performance? Or are they all about the same and I should just go for a non reference card at the cheapest available price?

When/will AMD come out with what I am assuming will be named the RX 490? Any word or rumors on that?

They're all about the same, go for the cheapest AIB. As for the 490, I heard rumors about in Q4 early Q1 next year, but rumors, so take with salt.

So long as it's non-reference, pretty much any will do. Get one that looks pretty and you are good to go.

Strix, but it's WAAAAY too costy. Zotac's card would also be good, if it wasn't for the ugly AF backplate (which I guess you could spray paint, but...). Gigabyte is seemingly the best.

Is that the one with the overlapping and opposite spinning fans? That one is the only one that seems like I would specifically pick out without considering the price.

No, I was meaning the regular cooler, not the Extreme one. But I guess the Extreme would do as well; agian, if it wasn't for the price.

Too late for the party: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/LW4NnQ/msi-geforce-gtx-1070-8gb-video-card-geforce-gtx-1070-sea-hawk-x

Not that I'd recommend buying, but it exists nonetheless.

Why don’t you like it? Last week I saw a 980ti hybrid for $405 and it just looked so attractive. I rear blower card with a small radiator should be way more effect than the normal internal blowers, no?

Why don’t you like that MSI sear hawk 1070? Because its $500?

Not that I don't like, it's just more costy than what I'd consider it being worth paying for.

I have a sea Hawk 1070 and cant fault it. The Temps are impressive to say the least and my overclock on my card is fantastic. Yes its abit pricey but for the similar 1080 version here was an extra 240 pounds.

I suppose for me the greatest factor is fitting it in my case. I think it is worth it, assuming you buy it at a good time.
