I am installing a fresh copy of windows 7 from an iso file on my bootable usb drive, and when I install it, I get this error message

it says "a requred cd/dvd drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, cd, dvd, or usb flash drive, please insert it now

Any ideas?

I had this same issue. Unfortunately, after many hours of trying, I couldn't find a solution that worked for me. Most people however were able to solve it by enabling legacy USB mode in bios and disabling USB 3.0 during install.
