Hello everyone. I wanted to ask a couple questions to get some general help.

1) Is the Core i3-6100 a bottleneck for dual RX 480's in modern games? (I recently ordered some to upgrade my old budget system, and to get into Ethereum mining while electricity is included in our rent).

2) Is a 430W power supply enough for dual RX 480's and a Core i3-6100?

3) Is anyone looking to buy a four month old EVGA GeForce GTX 950 FTW? Or does anyone know a place to sell or trade one in?

Thank you all in advance.

For options #1 and #2, you should post in the build planning forums for questions like that. I have reported the post to mods, so they can move the thread for you to the right forum (Don't worry, you don't get in trouble for accidentally posting in the wrong forum).

As for option #3, there's a Classifieds subforum (Go to the forum main page, scroll down to the bottom) - you can sell your GPU there to another forum member. There are several prerequisites however, so go to the classifieds forum, and read the rules. You might have to wait until your post count is at a certain number.

If you cannot wait - kijiji/craigslist or ebay.

Okay, thanks for the info. Does moving the thread to the correct forum require any action on my part?

Nope, I've already notified them. They'll do all the work themselves.

In the future, if you accidentally post in the wrong place, and you notice it before anyone else, you can always report your own post and ask the mods to move it.

"Reporting" a post sounds bad, but realistically, all you are doing is sending a direct message to the Mod Team, so it's often used for good things as well as reporting "bad behaviour".

well modern games are now using 4  possibly more cores, good example would be the recent battlefield games dual core will struggle on it

I agree - for modern AAA gaming, an i3 will hold the 480 back. If the OP wants a balanced system, he should swap the i3 for an i5. @PavelSou Also, 430W PSU should be fine, but I would get a 500W PSU just to give you some extra headroom.

the i3 will likely bottleneck the rx 480, more games need 4 cores now so get an i5 instead.

430w is enough for one rx 480, but get a 650-750w psu instead if you're gonna crossfire(which i don't recommend; get a gtx 1070 instead). also which psu is that?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
