How are these temps? Of course with respect to the clock speeds is it reasonable?

perfectly fine, the r9 x90 series goes up to 95 degrees before throttling. had a 290 reference running at 94 degrees before :P

GTX 480s ran at 100*C in my experience. 80*C is nothing

Those are with high end 290Xs like the Vapor-X or Tri-X

my 290 used to idle at high 50s-low/mid 60s, and 94 at load in just 2-3 minutes.

Yes. ambient temps directly affect core temps. If you were at 22*C idle then your temps would be around 75*C (what I expect from the Tri-X 290X)

Adding a bottom intake would improve GPU temps a LOT. I remember the MSI 390/390X needed a bottom intake fan to reduce temps by 5*C

the evga g2 850w is too big for a bottom intake D: 

I do have a 80mm fan that is able to fit tho... Should i install it? :o
