Ok thanks for letting me know, thats another thing I haven't decided on either, pretty sure im just gonna go for a 1060 and save some money, I probably dont need a 1070 for only 1080P 60hz gaming.

I calculated it wrong. You can get a i7 and a 1070 if you want.

Its fine I probably wont but thanks for actually helping anyway and not just guessing. RN im watching a 1060 vs 480 video to see what my best bet would be.

Got the price down, gonna stick with my current mobo and save some money and just not OC, the extra .6ghz (.8 if you count its turbo) that the i7 gets + hyper threading well def be a massive improvement over my 6500 alone, no need to OC. Got the cheapest 1060 I could find, I have no idea if zotac is reliable someone can let me know that. And I took off the SSD, I dont think I need it, its more of like a bonus to have but its waaaaay too pricey right now. If the 2000$ I was getting was going to go entirely into the PC I would get it but as I stated I also need a new desk, chair, keyboard, ect. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/tDKsXH

I return with more updates. I think I am going to need a new motherboard even though I really didn't want to re-wire and install a new one, hell at this rate im half tempted to just make a whole new build since at this rate I'm upgrading everything... reason being is my current MOBO the 2 small pci slots are blocked if there is a GPU in the pci 16 slot and I really want to get an elgato pro which goes into a small slot.

Also I wouldn't mind making a new build because I might just get a new case anyway, I wouldnt mind having a bigger one even though my current one already has plenty of room I would like one with a better cable managing system (mine does have the side panel mobo tray but it kinda tight and doesnt have the rubber thingies to make it easier. My current build is just so sloppy, also I'd like to maybe get a case with a side panel window.

Thinking about a 1070 now... not sure why but the one I found is just so sexy. Would a 650w be enough to power it? Just a single card. I assume yes since my 520 can power a 1060 why wouldnt 650 be enough to power a 1070.
