I know the movement is open source and freeware... but those items are usually under-invested and under-supported and poorly implemented. It's as good as it's investment.

Proprietary implementations cost effort and money and usually ends up better implemented due to the need to re-cooperate the investment.

that PhysX thing turned out very well for you, now didn't it?

also those Linux drivers are working so well for you, right?

Read the article. There's a ghosting issue with Freesync. But then the day a AMD fan admits to there being anything wrong with something AMD, well since is will never happen that's all that needs to be said xD

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Lmao what? Me telling you that I don't have ghosting is being a fanboy? I'm amazed. New level of stupid achieved. Maybe you should actually go read reviews of my monitor so you don't look stupid (at least even worse than you do now). And apparently I'm the fanboy.

Yeah very reliable 2015 articles which simply compiled what they read online instead of doing testing themself lmao.

I've tested several monitors, LG29UM67 and early Benq XL2730 show quite severe ghosting but only when i play some FIFA/PES. Didn't notice any ghosting on XG270HU, Vue24B, Z35.

Read my post, I didn't say every monitor, great show of reacting rather than reading though, which proves my point.

No GSYNC monitor has that issue, because it's hardware not software and is only used in high end monitors that can justify the cost.

And yes, you're being defensive fanboys. So what if GSYNC is better? AMD has things that are better and so does Nvidia. Big Whoop? What would happen if you actually admitted to such? Hmmm?

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Yeah i'm a defensive fanboys because it so hard to understand your post below which say Freesync have ghosting problem on some panels and not shitposting like "Freesync is software solution that have ghosting issues." Lel.

Not once in my posts i said Freesync is better than GSYNC, i'm just pointing that ghosting is not Freesync problem in general but rather a poor manufacturing decision in some early/budget Freesync monitors which doesn't implement anti-ghosting a.k.a overdrive/strobing/lightboost/ulmb.

No, we can read fine.

He told you it's panel specific, I told you I don't have ghosting and you said we're being fanboys and denying an issue exists. The word "nuance" doesn't exist in your dictionary.

Whether a panel has ghosting or not has nothing to do with software vs hardware. Ghosting has to do with voltage control on the pixels. Nvidia has opted to take care of it themselves with their module. AMD has opted to let manufacturers take care of it themselves, and so many of them has chosen to take shortcuts. The fact my monitor and the ones @xAcid9mentioned don't have ghosting contradicts you saying it's a hardware vs software issue, and yet you're still adamant about it and making it seem like all FreeSync monitors have this issue. THAT is being a fanboy. The only advantage Gsync has over FreeSync is that you can't use Freesync is windowed/full screen windowed mode (I just stated a weakness of AMD like I have mentioned several others in the past and I know this is still not going to matter to you). Existence of ghosting in a FreeSync panel has to do with quality control of the manufacturer, not because there isn't a "freesync module" in freesync monitors.

Yay! The AMD coffee clutch continues to show support to each other xD

You two are cute. Death to Nvidia but still don't see that a fanboy is a fanboy regardless of the brand they defend.

GSYNC is better than Freesync, this is quantifiable as you can measure latency. And for the price it should be better. Some day you two will grow up past being fans and become normal consumers, and feel quite silly ;)

If anyone asks you never saw me.

LMFAO. The koolaid has fried your brain so much that you're now seeing things that no one typed. Lol @ the person making up shit telling other people that they aren't normal consumers. After being called out on your BS you default to more BS. One day you'll find the other half of your brain.

What BS? Freesync is a software solution, not a hardware solution. Freesync because of its adoption to lower end monitors has seen issues like ghosting because of it. Freesync has more latency than GSYNC.

Where is any of that, BS?

Freesync is cheaper, GSYNC is better. Not that difficult.
