Hello there, I currently have an Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 OC 8GB with a i7 6700k. My swiftech x320x2 prestige only cools the CPU for now but I want to expand it to the CPU which I will also SLI at the same time. I need help putting together the list of required materials for this to happend. Should I get the EKWB or the swiftech waterblock?

Personally, I'd get the ekwb because I like how it looks, but that's really what it comes down to: which one is more visually appealing to you?

They both look good to me, my concern is more about performance than looks when it comes to waterblocks. The swiftech one is plated in chrome rather than nickel and the cooling path seems different.

There probably wont be more than a 2C difference between the two, Nvidia cards have been getting really efficient recently, especially since Maxwell, and Pascal is a boost on that efficiency.

Alright and what about fittings and tubing. Are Lok-Seal fittings good enough (thats the fittings swiftech uses on their x320x2 prestige) or should I go with EKWB ones. As for the tubing I heard primochill advanced LT are the best on the market and Mayhems X1 coolant is pretty good.

As long as they're g 1/4 thread, fit your tubing, and are secure (I'd recommend compression fittings, barbs just don't feel as secure to me) they should be fine.

So if I use this coolant I just need to fill up my loop once its done and I'm set right? (considering I look for leaks from this point obviously).

What color is your tubing, Primochill LRT clear? You will have to drain the swiftech cooler, then fill it up once everything is connected.

The tubing will be Primochill advanced LRT Crystal clear. As for the draining, I am aware of it as I am changing the stock tubing coming with it.
