Friend looking for new monitor

My friend wants to buy a new monitor for his PC (http://pcpartpicker.com/list/MF6Bcc) he's looking in the $500 and less range. Preferable monitor specs: 1440p 144hz IPS and less than 5 ms. I recommended this: https://www.amazon.com/PX277-27-inch-2560x1440-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B01HPDAF68/. Do you agree with my suggestion?
