What is your intended use for this build?

Casual computer use like Web surfing & Microsoft word. I also do some photo and video editing.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for?

Right now I would be gaming on a resolution of 1920x1080, but I would like to upgrade to 4k soon. I don't want my computer to limit the games I can play. I would like high to medium settings with the lowest fps being around 45.

What is your budget?

$1300 is my max budget.

Other/miscellaneous

I want my computer to be as quiet as possible, and cool as possible. Aesthetic don't matter a whole lot to me. I am planning to so SLI later so I want to keep that door open. I would like my PC to be on the smaller side but that isn't necessary. If you could recommend better parts but stay within budget I would appreciate it. Thank you.

This looks great, not much I can really reccommend, but you did a great job deciding parts for this build. A 1070 should do a great job of 1080p gaming, or even 2k. 4k is great but doesnt offer the great refresh rates 2k does. Id reccomend a 2k over a 4k since those refresh rates are really going to give you the best experience.

The extra cores would be nice in video editing, but you did go over my budget.

But how fast do you do it?

Render? 720p30fps is a 1:1 ratio, 1 minute per 1 minute of footage.
