Hey,

I used to have only my CPU on my custom loop so I controlled fans via the CPU temp headder, but I recently added a GTX 1080 Seahawk EK to the loop and dont want to have my GPU heat up my CPU to the point it decides to turn fans up. To deal with this I added a water temp sensor to the loop and plan to use my BIOS to control fans from the waters temp so it directly controls both parts.

The problem I have is trying to set up the fan curve for this headder? any suggestions on min to max temps and how the curve should look?

MB Asus X99 Pro USB3.1

CPU i7 5930k

GPU MSI GTX 1080 Seakawk EK

radiator 360mm EK

CPU water block XSPC Raystorm

thanks for any help!

Welcome to the Forums!

For fluid temps they take a little while to react and warm up from the components so being a little more aggressive with the fan curves isn't a bad idea but you should max out the fans near 60C probably best around 55C as in most cases the pumps don't like to in fluid over 60C.
