Windows 10 Search doesn't work correctly

Alright so this has been bugging me ever since I installed Windows 10.

Whenever I search for an app e.g. Battle.net( by pressing the windows key and then typing the name) it doesn't find the app at all.

I had similar problems with Thunderbird which I for some reason can only find when I type "thunderbird." and it won't find the app if I type "thunderbird" or "thunderbird.exe".

At first I thought this would only apply to programs I installed on my second drive but that isn't the case either( e.g. Mumble works fine).

And even stuff that is installed on my main Drive can't for some reason be found (e.g. Battle.net).

All these programs show up under "apps" in the settings menu.

I tried indexing those folders because I thought that might fix it with no luck whatsoever.

This is just really annoying since I like having a clean desktop which doesn't have 400 links to programs on it.

Here are some pics to display what's happening:

Thunderbird weirdness

Tunderbird weirdness #2

I really can make no sense out of this(maybe some registry problem?) so if anyone ever ran into this issue as well or has ideas please let me know.

Cheers

BV
