Not much to say except that that GPU seems WAY overkill for your monitor.... A 1070 is more suited for 1440 144 hz.

It's not technically 1080p... More like 2560x1080(20% more pixels) not 1920x1080

and I need it to max most games out for at least 4 years.

BTW I know it's not 1080p I actually own a 2560x1080 monitor  

 

In that case though you may want to consider getting a 29 inch instead of a 25 inch. 25 inches is awfully small for an ultrawide...

 

IMO though instead of just getting that GPU and hoping for it to last 4 years you're a lot better off getting something like a 1060 and then look at upgrading it ever 2-3 years. A 1060 should be able to play most games at high or ultra at 2560x1080 for at least the next two years. A 6600k is also a good option to go for instead. In the end you'll probably spend the same amount if not less money over the course of 4 years and you'll be able to max out the games on your monitor for all four years whereas if you keep a 1070 for 4 years in 3-4 years you will probably be turning down settings.

I can't really afford it because in Canada it's $100 more and I've used a lot of my budget on my PC. I can't really find anything to compromise on either.

Your build looks good to me for 1080p. I have 980 tis which roughly equate to 1070s when overclocked and they do struggle in some games to maintain 60hz minimum framerate. You should be fine even with that ultrawide monitor

You could consider downgrading to a 6600k+GTX 1060. Like this:

You save 300 CAD, which could be used in 2 or 3 years to buy an 1160 or rx 580 or something. Also now you get a 29 inch monitor.

Oh lol. 6700k+1070 is still a good option, and you'll probably keep that CPU for a long time. In that case your original build seems fine. Good luck building!

Haha. Currently I have a macbook pro retina display (early 2013) And I bought it for $2500 do you think this build could outperform this laptop?
