Wrong pcpp link. Please use the permalink it gives you above the list.

Memory: Called RAM (random access memory), it's where currently running program are stored (I think) and it has a very low communication time between itself and the CPU. (That was worded terribly)

Storage 1: If this is an SSD, store your most used programs and games on it.

Storage 2: Shove everything else here.

i would look at an other motherboard ... your list states that you choose a Asus Maximus VII ranger wich is a Z97 board ... for the skylake cpu in your list you will need a Z170 chipset board.
Maybe look at another CPU cooler ... the one on your list isn't a bad cooler but if you r going to overclock you want to keep temps a bit lower.

no, the DDR4 RAM and the skylake cpu on your list will not work on the Z97 board (Maximus VII Ranger)... Z97 only supports DDR3 and is a socket LGA1150 ... the new Z170 boards support the DDR4 memory and LGA1151 unlocked CPU's (like the Skylake I7-6700k).
The CPU cooler on your list is compatible with the I7-6700k and will fit the LGA1151 socket.
