not actually a problem with android but rather the hardware it runs on. Also google have actually patched the bugs the problem now is how fragmented the android eco system is.

 

first google updates and hands that to manufactures, which they then have to modify to their liking and then they push that to the phone carriers which then then do more testing to put in their own bloat and check it doesn't mess up their networks and only then do the end user get an update.

 

it is a stupid system and google really needs to push on both manufactures amd carries to update faster.

 

after a year or so most phones don't even get updates as they are working on their new phones.

Under that pretense we should just sacrifice all functionality and use non smart cell phones. Then we'll all have completely secure, reliable cell phones.

 

I don't like to be judgmental but with a Razer avatar and pro Apple comments, I can tell you're on the opposite end of the spectrum than I.

I'm assuming the Exynos M1 will best the 821,  if so I hope I can get an Exynos to work with Verizon US.

I'm pretty sure all US variants will be Snapdragon 821.  I'm saying I hope I can have an Exynos shipped in and I can get it to work with my Verizon.

/s means I was being sarcastic. Also note how everyone knew about the iOS bugs and was complaining about them before there was a patch. Meanwhile google already had patches out for most of the exploits (3 of 4) before the news even broke.

I could, it's just not really worth it because Verizon currently has the best coverage in my area.
