Well, from what I do know, it uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 connection. But that's not even a bottleneck since the Fury X and GTX 980 can survive on it just fine. You have to go pretty low before high-end GPUs start taking really bad hits.

There is a 1-4% performance loss running a Titan XP on a 16x slot vs a 4x slot. So basically within margin of error.
