router wifi card in pc

yesman

hi i have an old router which i dont use so i taken out the wifi card and i was wondering can i put it in my laptop considering that only has 2.5 and just put that in?

That appears to be a Pegatron UPWL6580 card using a Mini PCIe (half) interface, but it looks like it's missing a bunch of pins on would normally find on a laptop PCIe card. You can certainly try it, but I wouldn't doubt your laptop isn't going to detect it because of a different pinout.

 

Even if it does detect it, good luck finding drivers for that card.
