Which Linux OS is Best For Hosting My Game

I would like to know which linux os is best for my game which is based on Node.js ,I tried Debian os but it becomes laggy when more than 50 peoples join my game

Try CentOS. It's what a lot of people use when they don't use Debian or Ubuntu. It's what I use on my server which has duel xeons and 72 gigs of ECC ram. Though, you might have limitations with your server depending how powerful your hardware is and your network situation. You could be having a network problem.

Ubuntu and Debian are more or less identical when it comes to compatibility. But yeah, it seems like his server just isn't powerful enough to handle that many connection. Or it could be a Internet connection issue, with uplink speed not being able to keep up.

Why do you require Linux for Node.js? Why not a different OS?
