Hardrive problems :/

I think there's a problem with my hardrive, I'm currently using a 2TB HDD combined with a 250GB SSD, but any games that I run on the HDD lags extremely bad, some not even able to open. As soon as I move them to the SSD it's fine, does anyone know what's the cause/fix for this issue?

 

Any help is appreciated, also I can provide the specs or any other information that you may need.

Open your command prompt in admin mode and run the following

 

chkdsk (Drive letter): /F /R 

 

EXAMPLE

chkdsk c: /F /R
