First time overclocking i7 6700k

Okay after some testing and fiddling around I have it at 4.5Ghz and at 1.33V  it blue screened at a stress test at 1.32V and the memory is overclocked to 3200Mhz. temps were steady at 63-68C. Is this okay? Since it seems like I lost the silicon lottery.

Those temps are just fine. I have my 6700k at 4.7ghz at 1.375v and it passed a 10 pass of IBT. What were you using to stress test with. As long as during stress test you can keep your temps manageable, generally around the 75c mark, your good.

I was using intelburn test. So 1.33V at 4.5Ghz is not bad? Or is there other 6700k chips that could do it lower?

with mine I could boot into windows on mine at 1.335v at 4.7ghz but would crash on stress testing. Its all the silicon lottery generally and a small part of motherboard.
