Ghetto Tech Builds

Hey guys! I'm new to this sight and I've been meaning to join it for quite some time, but I didn't want to just show up and ask for help. I wanted to join and start with something fun and creative. So I've come up with a fun game we can all play let's call it.

GHETTO TECH BUILDS

Here's how to play

State what you are trying to build.

               EX: Laptop

State what your goal is:

               EX: Low cost Small size

Few rules:

No conventional pc builds

Must have a purpose

Don't Hate on someone else's build just because you dont think it'll work.

Must be able to find parts at easy to find websites or physical locations Amazon, Walmart, ect.

All parts must be able to be found by the general public.

Here's my first go.

Build

Laptop

Goal.

Small. But decent.

First things first pick up a raspberry PI

I would recommend getting one with a case.

https://www.amazon.com/Raspberry-Pi-RASP-PI-3-Model-Motherboard/dp/B01CD5VC92/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51696W3Gz%2BL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=XRFKCR67DVACTBENJTCV

Next Grab a screen for the PI.

Were looking for something that doesn't waste space.

https://www.amazon.com/Kuman-Resolution-Display-Protective-Raspberry/dp/B01FXC5ECS/ref=sr_1_sc_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1470550060&sr=1-2-spell&keywords=raspberry+pi+3+scren

Now for power.

The trick here is to keep it mobile.

maybe a portable battery?

This one I found at walmart can even plug right into the wall.

For assembly all you would have to do is stick that Mofo on the Battery with double sided tape plug it in with a usb and you should be all set to go.

Almost no assembly required. The real question I suppose is will that battery power the pi?
