Hi all,

I recently built myself a new NAS out of a supermicro 1u server and a xeon e3 v5 processor. I was wondering if it was feasible to use UNRAID to create a windows VM with VNC as the graphics, and to install steam and use steam in home streaming for cloud gaming. I was hoping to allocate 2 cores to this 'cheapo cloud gaming' setup, and I was wondering if it would even work all together, and if i twill, will it give me playable framerates.

Thanks,

1. Id stay away from unraid and use something like xen or esxi

2. you can't game with the virtual graphics(qxl(called vnc for what ever reason)

3. Cores don't work like that. You can give all the core to the vm the host can still use all the cpu power, if the vm isn't using it.

So no
