So im playing minecraft on my gtx 1070 and im only getting 120 tops fps. Why? The 970 gets like 500 and its worse! Why is this and how can i fix it?

samsung 850 evo 250gb

It might have something to do with opengl and newer drivers.

 

But what about the 970 it gets crazy fps.

of course you can,i personally use after afterburners on screen display(osd)

but you could also try nzxt's cam or evga's precision x to overlay gpu information ingame
